This is one of my favorite books I have read this year. It is a collection of essays about Sloane Crosley's life in New York, including bits from her childhood and the present day. I was impressed with the author's ability to keep me reading - it was one of those books I didn't want to put down. She has a remarkable ability to seem truly human and alive in her stories, and every single one of the essays is worth a read (and packs quite a few laughs). I was disappointed that this book is so short - I wanted more! I hope she writes many more books.
