I remember seeing this book everyfreakingwhere back in 2005. At the time I thought (based on a first glance, 'thin-slicing' the book) that it was some boring business book for executives and wannabes. After reading The Tipping Point
, though, I wanted to read more Gladwell and this is the next one that came up in the hold list. A quicker read (for me, at least) than The Tipping Point
, this one was similar: lots of well-written and presented examples with little substance. This book serves as a great jumping-off point for further reading with lots of entertainment, without being too dry at all.
