This was a very interesting premise, but I really only enjoyed the middle of the book. It took too long to get off the ground for me and the ending was a bit too strange and out-there for what had already been established in the novel. It felt tacked on, as though the author had another idea he ended up shoehorning into this book. I enjoyed the murder mystery at the book's heart, as well as the philosophical problems that the characters face given their flash of the future, but ultimately I felt as though so much more could have been done with it. Everything ended up feeling flat and lacking.
